Walgreen's Super Savings Sat (#4)

As part of "enriching our lives" I am trying to coupon shop and stretch our dollars and cents farther in 2008. Here is my outing to Walgreens today. My husband went with me because he had to restock his work bag. A shopping trip like this used to cost us around $50 for his stuff.

Walgreen's had a coupon $5/20 for use 01/31/08 only.

First store:
Gillette Razor: $9.99 generated $6 Register Reward
2 Alka Seltzer Cold/Sinus: 2/$10 generated $3 Register Reward
2 Cough drops: 1.19 BOGO free
2 Glade Scented Oil candles marked down to $3.49 each
Shaving cream
Advil 200 count reg 14.97 marked down to $3.97
Total was a little over $29 but we rec'd 9 in Register Rewards

Second Store:
3/ 12-packs Pepsi $10.00
Lay's Chips $1.79
Aquafina 24-pack water $4.99-free coupon with above purchases
5 boxes candy@ 1.19 each
Freezer Zip Bags .99

Minus RR from first transaction + RR from previous trip = $11/off
Total at this store was $7.75!!!

CVS:
20 double roll Cottonelle, sale $4.99 with $2.00 easy care bucks.

Wal-mart:
20 count Electrasol tabs $2.88-2.25 coupon= .63 cents a box.
I had 7 coupons!

My local grocer:
Chef-boy-ardee Ravioli's were on a hot buy sale for .77 -.20 coupon =.57 can, I had 5 coupons.
Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes on sale for 1.25-.50 coupon =.75
Betty Crocker Premium Brownie mixes on sale for 1.25-.50 coupon= .75
The brownie mixes are regularly 2.83 at that store. I had 4 coupons.
Juicy Juice hot buy $1.88- 1.00 coupon = 0.88
Nutripals Drink sale $3.79-1.25 coupon = 2.44
Texas Toast 2/$4-.55-.40 = 2/$3.05
