Updates to our upstairs.

We painted our walls 2 colors, graham cracker (brown) and bone. We also pulled the carpet and used Allure flooring. The office nook is an irregular pentagon off the game room and then the boys' bathroom is off of it. The bathroom floor is on the diagonal. It is actually flowing with the rest of the house and laid straight. Love it!

We also installed a safety board on the big window and bought a new blind to replace the old broken one. The half-moon window is covered with a drop cloth sewn into a curtain of sorts and for a rod we used PVC pipe and ceiling hooks. A big thank you to my mom for sewing the curtain and my mother-in-law for the idea of using the PVC pipe as a flexible rod. It allows light but cut out the bright Texas sun. My favorite part- cheap!
