Today, we had a wonderful, cool, Fall morning with blue skies and crisp air. We decided to take full advantage of the weather and do our nature walk first thing.
This week we started our study of Canada. We learned about rivers and lakes and how they are formed.
At the back of our subdivision is an area still not fully developed. It had perfect examples of rainwater eroding and cutting through the ditches to an overflow pond. The pond is currently dry so they pretended it was a dry lake surrounded by canyons. They had so much fun jumping, exploring, and examining the deer tracks.
